I love to produce compelling, meticulous and on-brand content for the interiors and lifestyle sectors. Over the last 20 years, I’ve built up an impressive contacts book of leading industry experts, influencers, buyers and designers – I know just who to email for that hero quote. Currently, you’ll find me writing expert advice pieces for Ideal Home, trend-led artices for Woman & Home, shoping pages for Sainsbury’s, and interiors features for Real Homes, as well as producing specialist supplements and online articles.

I’m also contributing editor for Homes & Gardens, commissioning and editing the houses each issue, working with leading interior designers home and away.

Editing

Give me an idea – could even be just a hunch, something you’d love to see in print or online – and I can turn that thought into a beautifully-curated magazine, brandazine, report or ezine with a clear target audience, design and tone of voice. It’s what I’ve spent my career doing.

From new launches – which include the award-wining Style at Home, The Craft Network, Scandi at Home and many more – to leading redesign teams at market-leading Ideal Home, and brand extensions, such as Grand Designs Live and This Morning Live, I understand how print works in today’s always-on world. I believe passionately that print still has a very exciting role to inspire its readers, complementing other platforms, building brand awareness and loyalty.

But I also love the digital world too, working with some of my favourite brands – including John Lewis and Nordic House – to plan and edit branded content, from market positioning work and initial ideas through to finished shopable ezines.

I work with brilliant art directors, whom I’ve had the priviledge of having alongside me for many years, working on various launches, brand projects and redesigns together. I can also bring in and manage additional specialist writers, leading photographers, amazing stylists and the keenest of sub editors, as and when needed for your individual project.

Christmas

You could call me the ‘Christmas Fairy’. I like nothing better than a Christmas project where I can add a special sprinkle of festive fairy dust to make your publication stand out from the crowd. From editing brand extensions – Ideal Home’s Complete Guide to Christmas and Good Homes Ultimate Christmas – to new Christmas titles, show previews to must-read gift guides, the latest tree trend features to shoot direction, like Father Christmas, I always deliver, on time and to your budget.

My Christmas starts in March, when I’m invited by the leading high-street brands to preview their Christmas looks, followed by Christmas press shows in July. I’m immersed in baubles and glitter throughout the summer, working right through until late September, when I’ll sign off on Christmas.
