Concept a partwork for a three-issue trial, combining papercraft and lettering… what a dream brief from Hachette Partworks autumn of 2016. Working closely with the editorial director, Jen commissioned crafters and illustrators to design papers, stickers, tags and craft ideas. She also made projects and styled the shoots. The project team comprised of Kelly Flood as art director and Jo Elston as pattern designer.

Paper was divided into two sections: the ‘inspirational and practical’ part, with clear step-by-step imagery and instructions to make the projects as well as learn a lettering font each issue, and the ‘supplies’ part, which saw a mix of paper stock, card, stickers and press-out labels and tags. Jen was also part of the research process, helping to shape the content from a test issue to the three-issue trial, which went on sale early 2017.
