Jen went back to Christmasses past for this festive special (2018 and 2019) for Marketforce (UK), repurposing existing content from the TI Media archive and Ideal Home, Homes & Gardens, Country Homes & Interiors and LivingEtc. The skill in reusing content lies in selecting images from established brands, each with their own look and feel when it comes to photography, and uniting them through design and copy treatment to producing visually pleasing and idea-rich features.

Drawing on her vast experience of Christmas magazines (having edited Ideal Home’s Complete Guide to Christmas both freelance and while on staff, contributing editor Good Homes Ultimate Guide to Christmas, as well as editing December and January issues of Style at Home), Jen, worked with art director Jo Elston to create a festive treat of easy craft and styling projects. Make It Christmas had a print run of 28,500, a competitive cover price of £3.99 and went on sale late September.
